Dave's place

I went on a wildlife photography workshop on wed 25/11/09 on a one to one basis with Derek Henderson. Had a super day out following red kites, trying to capture a Kingfisher - we heard one but could not track it down - and generally keeping our eyes open for anything that may have popped out of the wood work!! I used Derek's 5D MKii and a 100-400mm USM lens whilst he was using a 5d with a 600mm prime lens. It really is not as easy as it seems !! BUT I learnt a lot and i know where to go when i want to follow it up. Great day out.
